In 1991, not long after earning her Bachelors Degree from Marshall University, “MBB” came back home to Berkeley County to start her own creative agency. Drawing inspiration from her father’s civic and entrepreneurial example, Kisner Communications was born. Not only has she lead the company successfully over three decades, but also raised a family of three with her husband Rob and is extremely passionate about serving the community. Rob was appointed to fill the vacancy of Sheriff of Berkeley County in January 2024.

Tara Hoffmann
Tara joined the Kisner Communications team shortly after the company was formed back in the 90s. She is a native of the area and enjoys the beauty of the great outdoors. A graduate of Shepherd University, Tara has been a loyal and crucial member of our team over the decades.

Lexy Blair
A graduate of Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, with an Associates Degree in both Digital Media and Applied Technology, Lexy is putting her design and digital skills to work for all of our clients creating content that is engaging, using all the latest trends. As the first Gen Z member of our team, Lexy’s perspective is not only valued, but crucial as we work to create content that attracts consumers of all ages.
